Some friends and I had a leisurely lunch at Stoneyknob Cafe in a beautiful little town called Weaverville, NC. After lunch we decided to go back home via Blue Ridge Parkway. There was a low cloud shelf over the valley and high clouds above the peaks. The gray-blue of the clouds and the leaf colors on the peaks was just a beautiful combo.

Yes, she has a blue eye and a brown one. She is an Australian Cattle Dog also known as a Queensland Heeler or Red Heeler, she's my baby. Thanks for the compliment on the photo and my sweet girl, Cassie!

I'm no expert by any stretch but I knew today was a opportunity when everything was just right, I just wish I'd had the DSLR, but honestly, I don't know if I'd got any better a capture than this one. I'm just thankful I was there! Thanks!
