Clouds at Red Rock

We had clouds in the valley Thursday. I went out to Red Rock Canyon and took these.

Hey Nikonnut,
Is this in the Canyon itself or off the road (Charleston) going to Hwy 160(Blue Diamond)? I thought BLM closed down RR Canyon because of government shutdown. I want to go out there when the clouds are large and prominent. Good shots, I like 'em

This is on 160. The 13 mile fee area is closed but you can drive between Charleston and Blue Diamond. I thought it might be close also but the hwy was open.

I use my D2x and 28-70mm Sigma f2.8. I had my cpl on as well. It was really nice there. It was 54 degrees. A little cool but nice.

Cool,
I live in Rhodes Ranch so it is a skip and a jump to get there. I test my car's suspension on that road -- not much of a challenge though
