I had my UWA (7-14mm) lens on when "Blue" swooped out of the trees in front of me...had to quickly change to my 12-60, and sneak up as close as I could. I shot 3, then tried to move a bit closer, spooked him, nabbed 3 and 2, then he landed and I nabbed 1. I think I like 4 the best, but wished his head was fully in the bright part of the water.

5 is a 5 shot handheld HDR @ 7mm...one of my favorites from the walk...

First three.....nah, you have to look too hard to find the birds, except in the third one. The forth one...maybe, the bird out in the water is nice but lost in the frame....the fifth one....I'd vote for that one. It has better sky color too....the others are just too bright.

Thanks all, I submitted the 4th one...knowing that no one else in the group got a shot of Blue, and that there would be a lot of Dune, Sand, Water landscape shots...even though I like 5 a lot, I still went with 4 for the reason above.
