That is very tempting... I am looking to move back into slr territory, but I think on balance I want to stick with Canon gear. I have used Nikon a few times and they are good cameras, but most of my experience has been with Canon.
Hope you find a buyer... If anyone has a similar Canon system for sale, I would be tempted to raid the piggy-bank.
What brand of trombone is it you've got there?
Pictures are worth a thousand words! Nothing wrong with your post Leslie. Again, good luck with the sale.

Phew.... I'm sorry for any grief or chaos I caused anyone... I truly only meant to post about some camera gear I have available. I saw that there was a seller section before I posted. I was actually going to just post in a thread that I am participating in, but thought I should look to see if there is a place for that and found the buy/sell section.
Again, I am sorry for any stress or trouble I caused.
God Bless,
Lelsie
Not your fault at all. No need to be sorry. I replied to your post before learning it was a buy/sell category entry. On my daily notification it was part of new posts in all categories at the time so buy/sell category wasn't visible. My fault.

You did absolutely nothing wrong. The Classifieds are exactly for what you posted. It is a mystery as to why people with no interest whatsoever in purchasing your items would insert themselves into your post. Good luck, the items are priced very well. :) :)
Alright already, stop beating a dead horse. It's cleared up now. You also can't say I didn't have interest in purchasing because you're not in my head.

It's a King 3B. I bought it used about 15 years ago, I guess. It doesn't get a lot of use anymore, but I can't bear to part with it. Every now and again I find a use for it...
I have attached a photo, which I have to say upfront is not one of mine. It shows me playing a duet in church with a young lad on alto sax. We played my own arrangement of the hymn "Joyful, joyful", based of course on Beethoven's 9th symphony.
Joyful, joyful duet

Cool! I used to have music stores and sold/rented band instruments. Your King is certainly U.S. built. and will continue to work well for ages if you keep the slides all lubed good while in storage. Tuning slides will lock up easily if dry! I had some "borrow during repair of yours" units from 1980 that were still going strong in 2010 even though they looked terrible. Keep up your chops and do some Dixieland or German festivals for fun if you have any where you live.

Thank you for the boost!
I appreciate the compliments!

I agree. I like to see what I'm buying. Her photos present her product very well. Personal story adds to the implied care that she obviously took of her camera and accessories. Her lens display photo show like new lenses which builds confidence in her sale.
Thank you for the boost in confidence. Hopefuly somebody will want this great kit!

I had to work too many *long* nights at schutzenfests when I was stationed in Germany to want to play that sort of stuff any more!
I played with a couple of community bands for a few years here, but it got too frustrating. I have no problem with beginners struggling (during the summer a lot of guys brought their kids along to sit in and play, and that was great fun), but it drives me crazy when people just don't even *try* to play musically. You know what I mean, trumpets with 2 volume levels: loud and ouch! We spent most of a full rehearsal working with one horn player (not a young guy either) who couldn't count in 6/8 time. It was standard rest-rest-play-play-play-play, over and over again, and he couldn't count it! There were too many incidents like that, and I just wasn't enjoying it any more.
I sang with a community choir for a few years, but left that a couple of years ago.
Now, I have the handbells and also the choir at church, and that keeps me going. I do a lot of arranging, some for them and some just for my own satisfaction.

Unfortunately there's probably rules about setting up Craigslist looking ads on here to sell stuff with full personal information included and this will get yanked by Admin.

This is a Nikon D50 kit. I have had it by my side for a few years and have done more photography than I can mention with it! If you have ever seen any of my posts here you have seen what this camera can do! I am only selling my kit becuase for our anniversary my husband bought me a whole new kit complete with lenses and all! So here I am selling the D50 body, two lenses and all the little accessories to go with it! I'm even selling it with the camera bag! You get everything!!! This camera works flawlessly. It might could use a professional cleaning if you feel the need, but I have been using and maintaining it myself for years. It is a great camera and I am offering everything for just $350! If you are somewhere I need to ship we can discuss shipping via messaging or calling. I wanted to give my fell UHH fans a chance to grab this first! Would be an excellent gift for a new photo enthusiast! Or keep it as a perfect back up!
THank you for looking! God Bless,
