Since yesterday, I've seen the same video shots of it, and I'm reallly puzzled...
In the scenes where she (and with the bably in the car) is surronded by a number of armed police aming their guns at her, she backs up into another police car and speeds away...
My puzzlement - Why in the hell didn't they shoot our her tires so she couldn't drive away putting others in danger of her driving AND the possible harm to the baby ????????
Seems to me their were some acts of stupididy taking place...

At this point, after it is all over with, we know the outcome and we are able to view the situation through the camera lens from a safe distance, there is a tendency to question the actions taken. We cannot mentally place ourselves in the situation as it was rapidly unfolding and where decisions had to be made in rapid succession. Be assured that these are highly trained police/security personnel that know what they are doing all while being tightly constricted by countless rules and policies. They are licensed to use deadly force and this alone weighs heavily on all of them. At the very least, if you know ANYTHING about firearms, you would know that a shooter would have to step back a distance from the vehicle in order to get a clear, safe shot and not harm themselves or their fellow officers. They did what was necessary and there is nothing to contribute by second guessing their actions after the event.

Of course she must have had an AR 15 with her. Oh, she didn't? Then she must have at least been thinking of an AR 15.

Anyone ever seen a person continue to drive with a flat tire on the car? I have. Several times. Law enforcement shoots to stop the threat.

As many law officers surronding the car - with guns drawn - could have flatten ALL FOUR TIRES ... and it would have been next to impossible to drive..
I am STILL of the opinion that the police dropped the ball on this one....................................
