Even though I am not to keen on the first one, it is still pretty cool. Now for the 2nd one, I think the lighting is great! I really like it.

Thank you for your comments. The first one reflections, the building is actually behind me. I made the shot from the reflection of the glass. I was intrigued by the juxtaposition of the textures. The Abyss was shot with only available light.
I like the first one better because of the reflection of the balconies.
Reflections can be annoying, but not in this case. I think it adds interest to the picture. Might give this a try sometime.
I like them both. But Especially the balance in No2.

Two interesting and creative shots. They get your attention and hold it. I like them both but would definitely hang #2 on my wall.
I really like to see reflections off of buildings...I did a whole series here on reflections from glass buildings...I think it was called A day of reflection ...nice artistic shots!

Like the staircase....very cool!!
The reflection shot...Caution, the photographer has to be very careful when shooting at a guest room window and to be sure the guests have checked out...fortunately I took this precaution first.
Thank you John Lawrence what a nice compliment!!
