Just a little Texas outpost....where you while away the time with some music and a little social libation...
Where are Willy, Waylan and the boys ?
Music every night. Sometimes it's Willie!!
I think the population is 8 (or less) but a wonderfup place to spend a Sunday afternoon listening to good music and drinking cold beer. Thanks for great picture and the fond memories.

You're right!! We'd driven to Fredricksburg and I knew Luckenbach was nearby. Other than the Post Office, it seems to be nothing more than a dirt circular drive (with parking) off the highway. We were there in the afternoon so nothing was going on, but there WAS a sign that said "music daily."
P.S. Terlingua as a locale is somewhat overhyped just from driving through it!!
great pic, i would love to go there someday
me next to willies bus

Hi hippiegirl....I like the bus pick....Reminds me of the song On the Road Again. The story behind the writing of that song is pretty neat.

I like your artwork. It talks to me. I wish I were there. I viewed it for a long time. Mine is a Virginia City, NV honkeytonk.
Great shot. At least they are not letting it die.

Good looking little boy. I had to look twice before I saw the braids. Great shot!! I have a grandson a little younger than your son. He was born in Sept. '09, so I know the energy they have at that age. You've gotta be young to keep up!!!
