More Alaska Fall colors.

I really like the foggy bog picture the best. I know these are some great and beautiful scenic sites with the mountains and water and reflections and all but I really like the marshy and woodsy wet lands, there is so much life in and around them. Really nice series.

Spent a little time in Alaska, at Elmendorf AFB and up later around Fairbanks. You really catch the feel of the place in these photos. I hope to get back there in the Spring, and I'll be doing some camera shooting, but I doubt I'll bring back anything like these (though I'll try!) -- thanks for sharing these beautiful shots. Whereabouts in AK were you?

Thank you very much for your nice comment, for that shot I had to wait awhile as it was so foggy that I hardly saw my hand in front of my eyes.

:thumbup: I was stationed on Adak in the aleutions and frequently flew into Elmendorf when the weather was too bad to get back into Adak, even though it was 1300 miles away! I flew all over the magnificent state from Point Barrow to Fairbanks to Kodiak, over Danali etc. Wished I'd had the time to do more photography there, but it wasn't in my job description.
