My favorite portrait of all my portraits. I decided to photograph Shain in a half body and catch a glimmer of light on each shoulder to show his tattoos. I changed my B&W processing slightly in Camera RAW for this shot. I liked this photo so much I decided to create another MasterClass tutorial for this photo.

Thanks Geoff,

I do consider this my best B&W work. It is printed in a 16X20 matted frame. Will be on display in the Art Gallery of the Morgantown, WV Art Association next month.

Sadly and I mean sadly I will not be able to see it. However if you were to display in the UK I would certainly go to see it and the rest of your chosen works.

Exceptional, even for you, who have already raised the bar for B/W portraiture. Brilliant work.

Capturing the essence of one's soul, with such heartfelt passion through the lens of a camera, is a gift; and sharing it makes it even better. Thank you.

B&W is okay, I tend to call it all B&W, it saves confusion and explanation ;-)
