First day out on my trip to Glacier N/P we made a beeline to Running Eagle Falls in the Two Medicine Lakes sector of Glacier N/P. The sky had just the right amount of overcast to prevent harsh light on the water. I loved the unusual way the fall appears out of a channel in the rocks. In spring, the water also comes from over the top, obscuring the lower fall.
Midway through our week's trip to Glacier we went up to Waterton Lakes and actually had a wee bit of sunshine--briefly. I had Cameron Falls on my list and it too was so unique in the crisscrossed pattern.
I never met a waterfall I didn't like!

Thank you Jim. I believe one's level of competence increases proportionally with the degree of nature's inspiration.
