I took this photo about 15 years ago. My original print got damaged so I had this file made from the negative. The negative has washed out and I am having issues trying to get the color back with a natural look. Anyone want to give it a try?

Here is my try. I'm sure others will do better. I'm fairly new at this but like to try.

Whale wash out. Lightroom adjust.

I find this is one of the better ways to learn, it sure beats talking to your self, and you can see the little things others do to same platform. Helps to sharpen my pencil for next time.

Nice to see you St3vM. Don't see you doing this kind of thing that often.

Work ebbs and flows, today I had some time and wondered what Picasa could do. More of an experiment than anything and thank you for the Hello!

This was a quick adjustment in Aperture. It also lost some vibrance importing into UHH. (a common issue here).

The jpeg is very noisy. Reduced it some.

You might want to consider toning down the hot spot on the whale and converting it to a B&W. 8-)

Let's try that in Picasa! (don't have tool for the hot spot, though)
