Wow, these are great...especially number 1. Talk about leading lines, the viewer is captured by "Where does that road go?"

I always made it a point to go there around this time of the year and I was never disappointed. The color is short lived but always vivid.

Wow! Living in Southern California we don't get much of the color changes as other parts of the country. Those pics are beautiful and yes I like #3 too. When I was a kid I lived in Virginia and I still miss the changes in the leaves. Thank you.

One day I hope to be able to do landscapes half as good as you Mike. Another outstanding series. #1 is fantastic.

Mike,

Nice shots Mike. I also favor #1 and # 3.
What was the general area in Alaska that you were shooting in? Did you drive up from the "lower 48" or fly in to Anchorage?

Mike, just where does the road go in #1?? Nice set. I'm looking forward to season 2 of Life Below Zero.

Great set of photos. The first is so interesting the way the glacier comes down and looks like the road goes under it. The colours in each are wonderful.

Thank you very much for your comment. There is some very nice fall colors along interstate 395 in the eastern Sierra from Bishop north, check it out.

I really don't have to go that far. Julian is close and I know there are changes there but I live on the coast and darn little change here. Of course I love the weather; hate the politics!
