That Indian Museum in Cherokee is amazing and worth every penny to get in. I was heading up the gorge towards Tennessee and the storm set in so instead headed east and saw the casino. Unfortunatly, or maybe fortunatly, in my 66 years I dont remember ever puting money in a slot machine and unbelievable as it may sound I never one time played cards. I always was looking after kids or working so missed out on a lot of things in life. I have 9 children living and they were always wanting something done. So I guess they were the priority in life. Now I am lucky to have a new chance to enjoy life with Theresa and live the life I always wanted, in the mountains with a camera and a gorgeous woman.
Cant beat that!
Ian
Anyone thinking of a good vacation would do well to make Cherokee NC a base for the Smoky Mountain scenary.

You are so right Ian. Cherokee is a great place to vacation in summer or winter. We spent 3 days there over Christmas and plan to spend a week there in the summer.
