Proud Photography is the name if the online class for 97.00

What does this group think ? You get a certificate upon completion, and with that I thought I might be able to take photos for other agents.....of course after a lot of practice myself....

You would be surprised at how many agents cannot take good pics at all lol. I am a true believer that what you capture in a photo is an art, I'm funny when shooting, I take my camera and maneuver it in all directions until I can see something that catches my eye....

Sounds reasonable, depending on what you get. I'm going to check it out. The New Your Institute of Photography wants $1000.

Go to the great courses and there's a program on photography for $60 that used to cost $270 I purchased it and found it to cover just about everything I need to know It's four discs of six lessons on each. Each lesson one half hour it's done but Joel Sartore. He is a National Geographic photographer

Hi, i visited the site you recommended and the course is full price, I called and they said they knew nothing of that price unless someone had a Special code . Sure sounded good :-)

Check your local community college for courses. They have both credited courses and Continuing Education (hobby type). I took the hobby type. The first was taught by the head of the photography dept. from our local paper and the second by a retired Army photo journalist. Both were excellent.

There are a lot of courses out there that will offer you a certificate. The question is, will this certifcate be recognised? I did the New York Institute one many years ago and the certificate wasn't worth a thing, but I did learn quite a bit. It all depends what you hope to get out of it. If you're after a qualification, then in my opinion it's worth paying the extra to get a proper one.

No too old for any qualifications lol..... Just thought it was interesting that they could give a certificate of a photography course completed.... I know my manager ( real estate ) would announce that I completed a course for don't ask me why but there are agents that ask me to take the house shots !

That is quite alright, I ordered a few books suggested , so I will try to teach myself just what I feel I need to know... For my own enjoyment and to take house photos ...

Appreciate your time :-)
