How about "If you are too stupid to this device as intended then please shove it up your A$$".

My wife had to get a new hair curling iron. When I went to cut the tags off (she has Wet Macular, has trouble seeing those irritatingly small plastic threads they use), this is what I found!

Some idiot tried to use a hair curling iron to curl their eyelashes! Burnt the heck out of their eyeballs, sued the company, because there was no warning that a hot iron radiated heat, and could singe you precious eyeballs.

The result of modern education, you think?

The second side was almost as bad, have to warn you to keep your precious away from hot things? OMG.
My wife had to get a new hair curling iron. When I... (show quote)

YUP! That is the way it has become. I guess you just can't fix dumb!

My Dad bought a cheap watch to ware while fishing and like situations, when you first put it on you were to cut off the exes strap off so it would not stick out. on the buckle was a tag that said 'Do not cut this side'. Born in 1933 he could not believe how vacuous of common sense society has become.

lol... They should put a warning on packages that are hermetically sealed in that hard plastic that you need a big knife to open, like: "Opening may be hazardous to your health". Maybe I can sue the manufactures for not warning me ahead of time to use caution when opening...lol...

I have cut myself on them. I learned to use a chainsaw to open them. ;-)

Few years back, I bought a chain saw. While I was at the store, I decided to also purchased one of those little chain sharpening tools. It's a small rat-tail file with an angle gauge attached. After I got home, and as opening my new buys, I happened to note some safety instructions on the blister pack enclosing my new sharpening tool. Item #1 read, "Be sure saw is turned off before using this tool."

Um. REALLY?? I can just see some dolt trying to sharpen a running chain saw.....

I can believe and even understand an "Poor" lawyer suing a company for lots of $ in stupid issues. But what I can not understand is Judges ruling in their favor - against common logic - no wonder our courts are full, when stupid pays big, be stupid. Laugh all the way to the bank. I always wondered if the cost of a cup of coffee from McDonalds has any relationship to the suit they lost to Ill-logic.

Obituary

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair; and
- Maybe it was my fault..

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers:
I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I'm A Victim
Not many attended his funeral because
so few realized he was gone..
If you still remember him, pass this on.
If not, join the majority and do nothing.
