Will do. Knowing this guy, I would not be surprised if the case includes a battery, large capacitor or spark coil and fine wires to the handle. Anything is possible.

Sorry ScottK....don't wish to hi-jack your thread but I'm aware one can get an app where-by you can set your mobile phone down and if someone disturbs it by picking it up, it goes BALLISTIC!!!! Alarm siren, flashing screen, the lot. Wish my camera could do that.
(thinks) Hey that gives me an idea!

About a week ago, a kit was stolen from I think a wedding. I think we all worry about a loss or broken kit.
At the time, I knew about this site, but couldn't fine it. I came across it tonight fyi.

What you need are real stickers from a real security company. A thief could see these on Amazon and know that they are fake when he sees them on property.

That sounds good, but are they legitimate, and will they pay when you file a claim?
The least expensive and best security device is...your brain...
The second best is your Doberman's brain....
These sticker would be ok for the amateur, as the saying goes "Locks are for honest people". This is in reference to, if something helps you even .01%, you are that much more ahead. Paranoia, maybe, but how do you count un-happened events, and how many times has that sticker stopped some amateur from taking gear that didn't belong to them. How many pro's hang around just to steal camera goods? Another un-countable event.
I like that small motion detector - gotta have one!!!

I had a neighbor give me stickers from a legit big name security company when i moved into a new freshly built home - 13 yrs there and neither of us had a problem like some of our neighbors did.

I had a security system installed in my home just over a year ago, my girlfriend quickly wanted any extra stickers and a yard sign too. I guess those are cheaper than the monthly service charges, and thieves would rather not mess with the chance of getting busted. :-)
I did a search for the type of luggage motion detector anti theft device shown in this article - Tool Guard at $89 and found some without the remote for $18.
As the only time I set my camera bag down where I am not wearing it is in the car. Setting this alarm as well as covering my bag with a towel of car blanket would meet my needs, but who knows when another time would pop up when I would be good to have it.
I'm ordering the $18 one right now.

It's my Doby "Blitz" (see avatar) brain that makes the decision between backing you into a corner politely or ripping your throat out.......
