Hey can anyone tell me if packing a mini tripod with magnetic feet with a digital camera can harm it?
Not at all, unless you allow it to scratch the lens.
I thought magnets could harm the internal parts and chips in the camera body!
Camera bodies are made of non-ferrous metals and solid state circuitry, not affected by magnetic forces.

The magnets might have an adverse effect on your memory cards.

Absolutely not. Again, they are solid state circuitry with no ferrous metal content.
Try putting the magnetic feet next to your credit cards! They still use a magnetic strip.
I just spent two weeks with a friend on a road trip in Europe. Each time we parked the car he put the parking lot ticket in his magnetic money clip. When it was time to leave, the automated pay booths refused to let us out. It was not until the last day he figured it out!
SD cards are immune to security scanners and magnetism. I thoroughly tested my 4 32GB cards on the trip. My cards frequently are near the magnetic feet on my Gorillapod without trouble.

Yes.
Magnetic forces are used to erase digital
data.

Only when that data is recorded on magnetic media. Solid state devices are NOT magnetic media.

Yes. Of course. Silly me.
