I am an amature photographer who's main interest is photographing wildlife and wildflowers. I use a Nikon D50 with a 70 to 300mm lens on the wildlife and the 18 to 55mm for shooting wildflowers in Macro mode. I was a bowhunter for 34 years but now just go out with my camera. My interest in photography really increased with Digital.

It sure helps. I have found that it takes the exact skills to get close to wild animals with the camera as it did with the bow. Just as exciting too!

Like your photos...hope that you shoot the animals now with a camera and not a bow or gun...I used to hunt with a bow as well as shotgun many years ago but gave it up when shooting with a camera made it better for me psychologically...am not an anti -hunter.
