Welcome to the hog Red. I see you say price is not a constraint but when you say small not sure if you mean pocket size or a little larger. The Canon SX50 is smaller than a SLR bit is not a pocket type. It is a nice light weight with a lot of features and capabilities. I use mine for some wildlife and nature shots when I am out on the trails and don't want to carry several lenses for my Nikon D7000

Canon 'Power Shot' makes some nice, small cameras that fit your requests. Some around $100.00. Check out www.canon.com

If you're on a budget like most folks today, try the Nikon P100 or P810. You can pick up a good one on Amazon, B&H, KEH or Adorama for $130-$150 used, usually with a warranty. :thumbup:

Maybe not a true "point and shoot" but is fixed lens, no viewfinder but APS sensor and will fit in a pocket, a big pocket....

Golly Gee... You have the best small camera (Ok, not as small as you like perhaps) in the market... the OM-D. DPreviews "camera of the year" for 2012, and you are not considering a PEN??

The smallest PEN, the E-PM2, is as small as any camera you can find, of serious quality, has the same Sony 16MP sensor, IBIS and fastest focus from Olympus.

Has the same mount as your OM-D for dual lens duty.

However, it appears you are dead set on fixed lens. I would fix that with the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake lens and a few judiciously placed spot of Epoxy Resin in the lip of the lens mount... viola' ... fixed lens $4.00 for the epoxy.

I shoot the Olympus E-PL5, having had the E-PM1 and the E-pl1 and frankly, those are as small as I want to go.

For smallest lens on front, there is the fixed focus Lens Cap/Pinhole lens from Olympus for $50. Glue that in place. 8-) :mrgreen:

I suggested the E-PM2 because it is actually the smallest body with the same sensor and process engine and many other features of the OM-d. However, I opted to pay about $100 more for the E-PL5 because of an articulated LCD that I use quite a bit. The flash is addon but kept in a small pouch that hangs on the strap.

I plan to pick up the EVF finder that mounts in the accessory port atop the camera. Otherwise there is an optical viewfinder that fits in the shoe, for minimal dollars..
