i'd have thought the bear would consider 6 feet to be in its "private space"... :shock:

True most of the time but usually they do not carry measuring tape. :lol:

Love bald eagles too. We have them in Ohio but cant get that close. Its awesome when looking through lens and they're looking right at you.Awesome creature

Oh, you know, let's say 6ft? BTW, I once got that close to a wild animal and lived to tell about it - my mother-in-law!

I used to have a love/hate relationship with eagles and it took me several years of hard effort to get the 1st decent eagle shot.It takes patience and some strategy,if somebody tells you Alaskan eagles cooperate with photographers do not believe it.Thanks.

Not really.The only one I know about is stuffed one in my basement.But we have giant mosquitoes.....
