We felt very fortunate to see the mountain. We know a number of people who went to Alaska and were unable to see it because of the weather.

Fantastic shots, keep them coming.!!

Thanks cat2560, it is hard to believe so few actually get to see it. We were able to see it for 4 days in a row. I took a bazillion pictures.

Just beautiful! Third one looks like an oil painting.

I took the bus to the turnaround on the park road and was hoping for a shot similar to your third one. I did take a couple of pictures of where the guide said the mountain would be had it not been for the weather. From what I understand, more people see what I saw (or didn't see) than what you saw. You were indeed fortunate.

Hatter--congrats. You certainly took advantage when mother nature lifted the clouds. Really like the 3rd one. It looks like it must have been early morning based on the shadows. They really give it depth. When were you there?

Hey, get your wife to post hers here too. We could have the first-ever husband/wife photo contest.

Thanks for looking TchrBill. I think we took that same trip. It was like 92 miles into the park and then you turned around and came back out the same way. We also saw a lot of wild life.

Thanks GregWCIL, it was fairly early in the morning, maybe 9:00am or there abouts. We were there in Sept. of 2010. I like your idea for the contest except my wife is a better photographer than me. Our trip to Alaska is what started my journey into photography. She has been doing it most of her life.
