Mt. Ranier
I took this on a recent trip to Tacoma, Wa.
Mt. Ranier
JKious- Why are there no comments on these? Probably cause they ARE TOO GOOD! That pano shot is really something- how many shots to make it? Did you tell me you used Canon (I think I asked on the boat shot awhile back)? Tripod? Head? Bag?
I also like your judicious use of watermark- PIP-PIP!
i like the pano, but the first one seems a little flat... not enough contrast on the mountain itself. looks like a fairly heavy crop?
Nice shots. Can't add much, but agree with the others.

Thanks for the compliments.
This panorama was shot handheld and is a stitch of 3 shots.
I used a Canon SX12o IS.
The first shot is straight out of the camera with no crops.
Like them both.
The first one brought to mind how life is....
We have those wonderful bright times in life that bring colorful, lasting moments of joy and then there are things long past that may bring fleeting haunting memories alive.

OK JKious, now you've gone and made me homesick.. I lived in both Bremerton, Wa for 2 years and Everett, Wa for another two year (about 10 years apart) I could see Mt Rainier from a window in my kitchen. Such breathtaking views ... the Olymics in one direction, the Cascades in another and the lone tip of Mt Rainier... Thank you for the memories........
Great shot...love the panorama.
I hope you enjoyed your trip to the PNW. Lot's of photo ops out here.
