The outerbanks of NC is a great place to catch sunrises and sunsets. Here's a few from my recent vacation there...
Taken with canon 60d and tripod. PP in LR4.
Is this the Golden Hour? Shot over the Canadian Hole.
Also shot over the Canadian Hole.
Looks like fire!
Finally, a sunrise over the Atlantic.

Very nice sunset/sunrise set. Like the reflective colours in last one.
Beautiful shots, all of them, at my favorite place to be!

#3 is Outstanding. Why is it named Canadian Hole?
Nice set. Really like the last one.

Great shots. Been there a few times myself. My Mom lives about an hour away from there! What a great place it is. So much to see and do! Hope you had a good time. :)

Scootersurfs, thank you! This is a nice quiet place, almost a bay that comes in off the main body of the sound. It is very shallow, no more than waist deep for way on out there. Named Canadian Hole for all the Canadians that come down to vacation on the Outerbanks. This particular spot is a very favorite for the kite and wind surfers and the kayakers.
Thanks everyone for the comments!

There is always something magical about sunsets over water and you have captured them extremely well.
