The first one was taken that tight. I wish I could have backed off on the picture but it was a quick snap.

#4 is the best. I love the repeating "elements": eyes, lip colors, tilt of head, and the parallel lines of their eyes & the slant of their poses. Was this intentional or serendipity?

I wish I could claim it but I can't. The eyes and the lips are in their family and the pose was what I could get out of a 2 year old at that time.

Great job in capturing expression and pose. 1 through 4 and 6 look a little dark to me. You certainly have skill with light and seeing the direction of it, I like these a lot. Were you using a reflector to get the light in the eyes?

Thanks Jude. No reflector was used. Just available light and fill flash.

#1 good capture, but I think the focus is soft, I want the eye sharp it almost looks like the collar of the shirt is focus point. Great expression

nice shot, pretty young lady. Eyes still look soft what f-stop and lens are you using? I also like to have some highlight depth on face and catch light in eyes
