I'm looking to replace a camera that someone liked better than myself,"STOLEN".
I was looking @ a P520 but reviews aren't that great.I do not care for the Canon or Panasonic, then I ran across the FUGI X-S!. Any camera I choose will be an overkill.I like the x-s1 for it has the most realistate or physically larger w/o being an SLR. ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME..............THANKS

I'm not getting what the question is.
WHICH Canon or Panasonic don't you like and why?
Please try full sentences, not stream of consciousness.

And don't just say 'HELP".
Put a descriptive title on your posts.
It'll get you better answers.

Go to a store and find one within your price range that you feel comfortable with.

Another neat trick is to Google VS it
For example;

Open Google
Type fujifilm x-s1 vs

Google reports:
fujifilm x-s1 vs fujifilm hs50exr
fujifilm x-s1 vs canon sx50
fujifilm x-s1 vs panasonic fz200
fujifilm x-s1 vs nikon d3200

From there you can get:
http://snapsort.com/compare/Fujifilm-FinePix-HS50EXR-vs-Fujifilm-X-S1
http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon-PowerShot-SX50-HS-vs-Fujifilm-X-S1
http://snapsort.com/compare/Fujifilm-X-S1-vs-Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-FZ200
http://snapsort.com/compare/Fujifilm-X-S1-vs-Nikon-D3200

There are others, but you should get the idea.

I just saw that recently myself.
Not the greatest website, but you can compare specs.
Some things they list as positives (or negatives) are not that big a deal. Example: They knock the Fuji x100s for having a lower resolution screen... but it has a real viewfinder which I prefer (with a hybrid feature that's pretty cool)

The Sony NEX-7 is a nice package. It's a mirrorless so it's small & light and takes a bunch of different lenses. Image Quality is EXCELLENT!
