I think they are interesting. You never know what they will do.

I was talking about a picture from a different post. Here is the bear picture I was talking about. It was posted with other pictures of a mother bear and two cubs .... but the date on this one made me think it was one of your earlier pictures.
I am impressed with them all, of course.

OK,if I understand correctly you think the Brown bear playing with a stick in this post is identical with the one you copied from my post "....deadly encounters..." just because it has the same copyright date.Is that it????
No it is not the same bear. The sow with cubs is much bigger and let me tell you a sow with cubs has different worries than to play with a stick.During 2006 bear season (July-August) I was photographing about 70 different bears.Just because a photo has the same copyright year does not really mean anything as the subject goes. The photo could be taken even iin different year, the copyright reflect publication date, not when it was taken.Does it answer your question? Thanks for your comment and looking.
Wonderful series of these beautiful bears! Looks like you were pretty close.
Oustanding capture. You can really see the difference in size between momma bear and her cubs.

I am beginning to feel guilty about flooding UH with bear photos.
I believe I posted about 50-60 bear photos here in about a month,is anybody getting tired of this subject yet???? I have more....
Ivan, I hate to be a spoil sport here, but I almost hope you'll stop with these close bear encounters. I'm afraid your luck might run out before I learn everything I can from you.<g>

No way! Keep posting bear pictures! These three are great and the captions are good too! :) We don't get bears in Indiana so I always enjoy looking at yours. I haven't seen a bear in person since 1999 in Yellowstone, and then I didn't have a long enough lens! So keep posting your bears!
Keep posting the bear pics, great stuff and I never tire of bear shots.
Your pictures are wonderful!

Now I know you also have a sense of humor. And no, I am not getting tired of all the bear pictures. These pictures along with your titles made me chuckle. Terrific shots of active bears.
Love your work. One of the advantages of living in the great outdoors is that you get to see things that the average person only sees in zoos.
Beautiful work and I love your eagles.
