It is an Akita puppy. Her name is Zoe and she is now 3 years old. Here is a more recent shot of "Her Majesty". :)

I love Akitas. I had 4, years ago. They were so smart. I have a golden retriever mix now. Murphy's a good boy but not the sharpest tool in the shed. I say he will be my last dog but every time I see an Akita I want another one.

They are awesome dogs. I will probably always have one. She recently had puppies and will probably have one more litter before I have her spayed. Here is a shot of the dad (very sweet boy) and the puppies.

OMG!!! I want to dive into the puppy pile!! What a gorgeous litter and I can see why with such a beautiful mom and Peanut is a very handsome guy.
(Sigh) makes me miss my guys. Give them ALL hugs and kisses for me. And thank you so much for sharing those wonderful pictures. I envy their new owners, they will be getting such wonderful puppies.
