First one is of a miniature donkey we called "Odie" See if you can guess why.
OK I'll tell you...Donkey Odie.
We had gotten him as a therapy pet for my mother in law who had Alzheimer's and she would practically brush the hair off of him.
Second one is of a dead flower I thought still had quite a bit of character left.
and Third one was of a Cicada Wasp. They lay there eggs inside the cicada and the new wasp larvae feeds on them. Here he is actually eating, drinking whatever it is wasp do some tree sap

I wish I were your mother in law! Artsy "aging" flower! ( I should be so,"artsy" looking as I age!) Lol! I have lots of pics of wasps...will have to check the markings closer to see if I have one of that same kind. Didn't know there was such a thing. We have cicadas here too.
Cute Donkey, would love to pet those ears... We must have a similar sense of humor, I though if I ever got a Donkey I would name him Hotey (pronounced hoe-tea) for the same reason. Odie seem to work a little better for spelling purposes though.
In Indiana we call those wasps Cicada Killers. They are the largest in the wasp family. Fortunately they have the nickname "gentle giant" because they have a good temperament (unless you're a cicada). Just don't freak out and swat at them and they will most likely leave you alone (again, unless you're a cicada). I once had one fly a foot in front of my face carrying a cicada to it's burrow. That did stop me in my tracks! :) Nice of him or her to sit still for a portrait for you. :)
I just love Odie! I can tell how well cared for and brushed he is! I only wish Bingo's owners would take as good care of him. :(
