I usually use a 70x300 mm Zoom Lens for long shots. I think I get a pretty good effect with that lens. I need to start using my wide angle.

Thank you colo43, I used a 70x300 mm zoom lens, but since I'm just starting I used auto and it gave me those, I have been trying to learn using manual, but I still need to practice more.

Your second shot reminds my of a canoe trip my husband and I took on the Withlacoochie River near Nobleton,Florida,good memory.
