Hey charlieA!
Check out the hoodman site and look at the Foto Frames...frames flip up (individually) so you can get right up there to the viewfinder, all without taking off your glasses. I've used them for little over a year & luv'm! T
You can have one eye up to the camera yet still be able to see clearly thru the other! No fumbling for your glasses, no tangles with your cam strap, whatever... Have a set of lenses installed in them 'n yer set to go! I had Sams Club do it 'n been pleased with the work.

Don't you think your 'avatar', or whatever is should be called, is an infringement on a copyright? I do! And here we are, a dozen or so, photogs trying to protect our works.
Or maybe, just maybe, you paid for the use of it.

I thought I directed my question to the poster. I'm interested in his/her response, not your!

I'm 53 years old, nearsighted, and I hate viewfinders. Diopter adjustment (when a camera actually had one) was just out of range. Pressing my glasses up to it smudged them, and my eyes would always take time to recover afterwards. Live view LCDs have always been best for me, because I just peek over my glasses and everything from about 5" to 18" is in focus.

Well, here is a response from me anyway...
Sorry, but once you post a message on the forum, it's a free-for-all. If you had wanted only a certain poster to see your message, or to answer it, you should have posted it as a private message to him/her. Just click on the username over the avatar, then click on SendPM.
And BTW, I agree with you (SwedeUSA) about copyrights.

I posted my question on the forum because I thought his/her answer would be of interest to the group, not my question.
It's funny how some people post answers without thinking what the post they're answering to really means.

Do you plan to ask those UHHers with Nikon, Canon, and Walt Disney, and Warner Bros critters in their posts ? Or is it you just don't like M&M's ?

That's right. The diopter setting brings the shooting info in the viewfinder sharper.
