Think about the following;
Blacks make up about 14% of the total U S population. Even if all Blacks were on welfare Blacks still could not be more than the total number of Caucasians on welfare.
Approximate Data:
Let's say total U S populations is 300 million (300,000,000).
Minority Populations:
Asians: 8% of 300 million = 24 million (24,000,000)
Blacks: 14% of 300 million = 42 million (42,000,000)
Hispanics: 12% of 300 million = 36 million (36,000,000)
Majority (Caucasians) Population:
24+42+36 = 102 million
300 million - 102 million = 198 million (198,000,000)
Total number of Caucasians on welfare is ???
Look it up instead of perpetuating unfounded negative racial stereotyping which tends to divide this country.
We should all be working together to correct the overall welfare problem which is too many loopholes in the welfare system with little accountability.
A lot of Blacks and other minorities are hard working folks who are also paying taxes.

I thought this website was for and about photography. Why are you discussing politics and social issues in here? I would suggest taking it to Facebook. No wait......I see enough of that in Facebook. Am I wrong in thinking that discussions should pertain to photography? I'm new here, and don't want to step out of line. But.........I opened this thinking the new breadwinner would be about someone's success in photography. What a disappointment.

The numbers are correct, just don't use numbers only to serve your purpose. "Liars figure and figures lie!" How about looking at the percent of population, it's a better indicator. Don't use figures to try to fool an accountant.
But, you are right about fixing the overall welfare problem.
