Wish my blackbirds looked as smart as yours there Jim. The ones around here are very tatty after what appears to be a very successful breeding season, so I suppose I should cut them a bit of slack.

Good shots of a Blackie angler. I have one (Billy) who stares through the living room window when he wants feeding (small fat ball pellets with insects) well that's what it says on the packet. There is another one (Bob) who waits outside the front door waiting to be fed...its costing me a small fortune!!!

Cheers Doddy and thanks for looking it, s really appreciated. This bird and it, partner are the same, I've bought a small feeding station to put at the side of our caravan and they both come several times a day for a meal.Never mind, as long as they enjoy it.

Love the perspective and composition of #1.
Love the first shot! The rest are quite nice, too, but I like the close-up image and composition of that one best. I'd say the test was successful. Good job. I certainly hope you're keeping an album and printing some of these out, not just keeping them on your computer.
