Great Shots--My wife shot some a number of years ago at a balloon festival. There were a large number in the air and the pictures were grand. You have some good ones here.
I like your second picture :)

I shoot ballons each year at Sun N Fun, or try to. I'm not an expert but I am not new either. I do have a golf cart to run around in so movement for me is easy. The first thing I do is arrive as early as I can , check the wind direction. That would be ground level as it might be differant up a hundred feet or so. Another consideration is sunrise direction. Usually the ballons are inflated over a short period so you can get some ground shots. Try to get a person in front of an inflating ballon for perspective. If you can get close try to get low and behind the person running the gas inflator. The morning sunrise is always good behind your back but be ready to shoot up as they go over. Also try some shots with the ballons between you and the sunrise. As with anything else practice. And one more thing, try to hop on someones golf cart...

Good balloon shots! It looks to me, on my monitor, that you could stand to do a little post processing and pump up the whites - they seem a little blue to me but that could be my monitor.
