What a day and what a week coming up.

CLosing on the house in New Hampshire was today and all went well. Money being wire transferred as we speak.

Sunday evening I start a colonoscopy regiment and 2nd half starts at 2am Monday morning with an arrival time of 6am for the procedure. Talk about a wasted evening. Better build up a supply of magazines in the tur-let room.

So the colonoscopy is 6am and I look at the calendar and there is a pulmonary appointment for 3pm same day.

Looking closer, I see on the 28th is cataract surgery.

They're going from end to end. For the cataract the Doctor is trying for personal money of $2250.00 to perform lasik surgery same time for best ' no more glasses ' results. Or $500.00 out of pocket for best lens in right eye. Always a bait and switch now-a-days.

No sense wasting a chance to show a pic. Grabbed the D7000 with the 18-105 and some pretty color plant outside my door for your viewing pleasure in a photo to get the picture of a colonoscopy out of your mind. C&C welcome because I love the colors.

Why thank you Sylvias. I'm sure all will be well because I got medication toilet paper to insure smoothness. Should be again an exhilarating experience.

I'm going to have him report to my wife that my head is, in fact, not up there. Maybe a photo ?

Load up on Taco Bell Sunday night. That'll make the doctor think twice about colonoscopies.

Most of that sounds like good news .... a sold house, money in the bank, a routine test that might be preventative in nature, and some better eye-sight on the horizon.

Hope everything continues to go well, and that you'll be back to a normal picture taking routine real soon.

What kind of flower is that anyway?

I had to change doctors before my last colonoscopy. I didn't feel comfortable with a proctologist that played Barry White in the operating room.

Sarge....Lasik and cataract surgery? What kind of quack are you going to? I just had cataract surgery in both eyes and am seeing 20/20. I do have to use glasses for reading and computer work, though. No biggie. They have CrystalLens, too that will allow you good eyesight both near and far. We had a special deal since my wife works at the hospital, and I had to pay for the Toric lenses (not covered under insurance) because I have astigmatisms and for the doctors fee for the Toric lens, but I had both lenses done for $1900 total....everything.

Me too for the astigmatism. JUst to do the surgery I pay nothing. It's for the extras I would have to pay out of pocket. Sort of like custom pants, I'd pay extra to have a fly put in them.

My fee for both eyes would be $2250.00
