A while back a fellow hog wanted to know how to make a bellows for a fake camera he wanted to make to use at events and look like an old time photographer. I didn't know how make bellows but I had two old Speed Graphic bodies that I thought could be adapted to make the fake camera. I sent him one and then went to the workshop and built one. I will not be doing event photography so I don't need it. Tripod, Dark Cloth, DSLR are not included It is $75 Postage Paid. Send me a private IM if you are interested. - Dave
Very well done. Your handiwork looks very professional. Congrats!
That is great and what laugh! I was visiting an older friend of mine who has been a huge camera collector for many years. I saw him yesterday and he mention he like to just set something similar to what you have and see what people have to say. He has the real deal though--he has a huge studio camera on a huge stand that is mobile. He has many Speed Graphics and a couple of Russian 8x10 cameras. Most of his collection he picked up a rural auctions most of his life.
If you don't mind I'd like to print your photo and comments because his health is rapidly deteriating and I know this would really lift his spirits. Thank you for this. By the way is that an 8x10--it looks much bigger than the 4x5? Thank you again--you made me laugh and I know my friend would appreciate it so much --he lives out in the boonies in southern Indiana.
Sure. Send me a private with your email address and I will send more pictures. - Dave It is a 4X5

Wow this would be so cool as I am a 1940's re-enactor and would love one alas due to a shoulder injury using tools to make the box would be a problem. Been on youtube on how to make Bellows for an idea.
That not a bad idea, I thing Civil War reactment people would want something like that.
It Could be made to look like a Graflex Speedgraphics with some bits.
