I've had this camera for a few months and am very satisfied. The FZ200 shoots JPEG and RAW. You can also select to capture both a RAW and JPEG if you wish.
You should Google LUMIX FZ200 and check out all the great options available to you with this camera.
Good luck.

Hi FPou,
Great subject...I guess Mirrorless Cameras are here to stay...although it may be prudent to wait & see further development & advancements...like DSLRs in the early 2000s...but that Panasonic w/Leica lens --- 600mm! is pretty awesome...Cheers, Gerry
Yes it does. Just got this camera about a month ago after doing a lot of research and decided it was the best choice for me. It came down to between the FZ200 and the Leica V lux 4. They were similar in all specs plus both had the Leica lens. Picked the Panasonic for the price value- over $400 less and also considering that the Leica was also made in Japan.

search "Graham Houghton" on you tube. He has a series of great instructional videos on that camera.

Watch Panasonic's website. Sometimes they have weekend sales where they beat prices anywhere else for two or three days.
