The 80-200 Kiron has a small dent on the barrel at top that does not have any effect on the image. You can see it at the top on the photograph that I posted. Other than that it is clean, has no lens imperfections (scratches or anything), no debris and it is a sturdy lens.
It says M/MD near the bottom of the lens and I have to use a converter to use with my sony NEX. So that answers your question I guess. The answer is yes. The lens is the push-pull type.
