I have been a Photoshop user since the Knowles brothers licensed their scanner image tech to Adobe, and the fastest machine running Photoshop was an Atari TT030 running Spectre GCR Macintosh emulation by the programming genius, Dave Small. That was the mid 80's.
You might say I'm a Photoshop Yoda, Guru, Curmudgeon...
Little Bit of Photoshop

Well blow that one up big. Sure you'll have plenty of admirers!
I have that image on my project studio wall, 24x36 inches, and nobody has ever figured the model, who is a professional legit dancer, is a 6.5 hour plane ride from the background. Adding "selling hints" to the composite, ranging from shadow to light wrap to an "aura" trick I sometimes add, make the big print look dead-on realistic.

I am so envious of anyone who gets lightning photos. I never catch them. But then again, you can't really see the sky around here, either.
I love taken Lighting Photos as long as its off in a distance after that Im outa there lol. I just picked up a Metter that hocked up to my Camra that when a suddion light chage happens the Camra clicks. So I'm hopen I can get one more shot before the fall comes.

Where do you live? We do get lightning here, but we have woods all around us, so usually, it just HITS us. We don't really get to see it.
So far, it has taken out our well pump, hit a utility pole in front of the property and took out 3 computers and a router. Hit the shed and took out the eagle on the weather vane. Poor sad eagle. Now he's just hanging there, looking depressed.
Didn't KNOW lightning could hit a well pump, which is, after all, underground, but live and learn. A few thousand dollars later and voila, wiser than before. Much.
I love seeing lightning, but considering how much damage it has done around here, I think I'd rather look at your wonderful pictures than have any more direct experience.
Lightning is very LOUD when it hits your house or even near it.

The wonders of modern post processing never cease to amaze me.
