Some recent HDR shots..
Love them all but I'm really drawn to the second b&w image. Very Nicely done.

Really like 1&2. Not a fan of "cartoon" HDR.
Luv all three...and welcome. ;-)
Each shot speaks for themselves, very good set Travesty!

First off, you have a very good compositional eye. Secondly, you have used the right amount of HDR in the different images. Well done.
With the second image, I feel you can improve that further with a bit more contrast to bring out the texture and the carvings. You may need to reduce the blacks a bit if the side of the building goes too dark. Also correct the lean on the right side of the image.
To get a great B&W image, shoot in colour and then use channel mixer (in photoshop CS) to convert. Go through the options which will give you a different look, depending on the colours in the image. Select the one that you gives you a good range of tones - from near black to near white.
Excellent and welcome!

First of all thank you all for the compliments an welcome...
Chinaman, As far as the lean, my camera was level and the lean is due to settling.. I did play with the perspective a bit, but went back to it's natural state... I appreciate all your suggestions and may go back a work on this one some more... I also wanted to point out that the alley itself is a big part of the subject for me...

I agree. That was why I mentioned about lightening it if it got too dark with increasing the contrast.
I'm not a fan of HDR, but I think no1 is stunning!

I am also partial to the B&W one of these 3.... Just giving some examples of my work that has all been edited a bit differently
