When you say "Free", I think that means free to the lay abouts, and the illegals. The rest of us have to work to pay for the "Free" care these folks will get. And why is it that if this is such a great program, our President and our politicians are exempt from it ?

Anyone who robs Peter to pay Paul will always get the support of Paul.

Plagiarism and copyright infringement is his MO. Since he has little respect for private property and individual rights it should not be surprising.

Date and pure factual common knowledge or public domain material (such as this) have no protection under copyright laws. I can't quote it, but you can look up a U.S. Supreme Court decision from the 80s, majority opinion written by Justice Sandra Day O'Connor (who I once had the pleasure of meeting).

Only the stylistic elements are protected. So, if something otherwise not protected were written in a distinguishing, unique font, style, or whatever, that can be protected but not the content.

And we all know he copied it; anyone dumb enough to support Obamacare isn't smart enough to make his own list!

If a young, healthy person wanted to buy catastrophic coverage only, they would not be able to because such a plan would be illegal. A healthy 21 year old professional male would be forced to purchase a plan that covers contraception (not conforms), mammograms, colon scans, diabetes supplies, and a whole host of other things he probably isn't interested in.

It's socialism. What else would you expect from Obama?

You only need one.

1. Say goodbye insurance companies.

No, say goodbye to insurance companies whose prime motive is short term profits based on not insuring those who are sick.

We also need ceilings on costs of drugs. The drug companies don't need a bazillion dollars in short term profits either.

Greed has ruled the insurance companies and the drug companies far too long. It's time to put a stop to it.

You would not last long in any business if you don't make a profit, quick or other wise. You don't go into a business to share your profits or to make everyone rich. You go into a business to make yourself rich and there is nothing wrong with that. The rich provide jobs. Without the rich everyone will be poor. If the rich don't provide jobs they can not make a profit. Supply and demand... it works. It is not greed to make a profit.

BTW, I live off of $15,209.40 a year. There is nothing wrong with being poor either.

For people who get up in the morning with two thoughts: "Who can I hurt? What can I break today?" the idea of providing health care for anybody is a hateful thing.

Other than perhaps some gang members, I am not aware of many people who wake up in the morning with those thoughts.

The day this forum realize that Rix only sends extremely controversial themes with garbage language used to respond to others, he will stop and just go away. I have known several individuals that they can't even open their mouth at home and they have been forced to find ways to communicate with others using other avenues such as this one.

just so i'm clear... most other industrialized countries in the world lack health care insurance companies, and they manage to provide statistically better care for their citizens - and WE think WE have the best health care system???!!!????

FREE?

Tell me about your concept of "FREE". that is itself a lie. Making the entire post a lie ,as that is what it is based on.

Now name a government program that comes in under budget, that is efficient, that isn't rife with corruption.

Someone has to pay for it, the devil in the details is what happens when they decide not to... Like Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius who coldly told a congressional committee that in response to a lttle girl dying of cystic fibrosis in need of a lung transplant, she "can't cherry-pick this one, high-profile case to intervene". She said that at CHOP alone there are three other children who are just as sick as Sarah Murnaghan.- this in response to the law that does not allow a child to receive an adult partial transplant- but childrens organs are a rare commodity- thus sentencing her to death in the name of the law.

This is government involvement in your health care at work. The law was changed due to huge public response. But it does prove that you better be connected to get anything done. And PROOF that the death panels will be in full effect.

Or consider Danny Williams, Canadian Newfoundland Premier, who travelled to Miami to get his heart operated on... This from a system similar to ObamaCare. You won't have this choice, you'll be directed where to go. The wealthy will still have access to the best Doctors- unless the left figures out a way to block doctors from being in private self/pay practice...Maybe put them in jail/hospitals. or hold their families hostage, or revoke their passports- or most likely- retract their License to practice medicine unless they do whatever you decide they must. If it gets too bad, then they'll move off shore. In any case, no one will go into the business in the first place- the incentive to go into huge debt and years of extremely hard work and relatively low initial pay- in the promise of rich returns later on... will have persuaded the best and brightest to go into other fields. Unless you figure out a way to force them....

This is going to be great... Karl would be proud of you. FREE HEALTH CARE, FREE FOOD, FREE MONEY... U T O P I A !

There is a similarly long list of federal government failures to be cited, Rix. I would have my 3 year old niece administer health care sooner than the federal government.

People, who have comparable ability to your 3 yr. old niece have been administering health care for the private sector for years anyway. What the heck difference would it make.
Unless of course you are afraid that, god forbid, the Obamacare just might work...And please don't give me the crap about how I am talking like a liberal. I have been a conservative and a Registered Republican all my life. The only difference may be is that if I see something that might be good for the country and it's people, I don't care whose idea it came from.
