I looked at the Fine Art America site. Have any of you used it? If so, what do you think about it? Have you sold anything from it?
I've been using FAA for about 6 months now. So far, I like it just fine. Their printing, framing and mounting prices are lower than I can find locally.
When you upload an image the site determines the largest size to offer. For instance, images from my old D3100 maxed out at 48" wide for horizontal images; 60" from my D7100 and up to 96" for panoramas.
FAA has a member "community" with forums and groups.
Finally, they promptly pay my profit (I set the amount) to my PayPal account.

I've been on it for about 4 months and haven't sold anything yet, but then I'm not real creative.
I just noticed that my signature only shows my Flickr account. Here is my FAA sit in case you want to look and click around.

I have been on FAA for just over two years now, have sold quite a few images and find its pricing, print quality, shipping turnaround top notch. The sizing and type of prints offered is impressive. Prints sizing depends on the resolution of your image. FAA offers Framed Prints, Metal Prints, Canvas and Acrylic Wraps, Prints, Cards and if your resolution is high enough, posters. You configure your own site, set up the number of galleries you want etc... FAA displays low resolution of your images online and holds the High Resolution images in an offline file to be used only for printing. This negates the theft of high resolution images from the site. I've used many of their competitors and find FAA the best. Two Thumbs Up. You can find my site at:

I've been on FAA almost since its beginning and I really do like it. Although you can do the free thing, it's worth it to pay the $30/year and have your own personal site to send people to as an on-line portfolio. Be sure to do their gimmics - contests, discussions and other interactions as that will raise your level of awareness with them. It's about the easiest website to use, both as start up and ongoing.

Agreed, I took a long time to post some of my shots on there, have had a few lookers but no buyers, don't really need the money, just be nice to have someone enjoy my pics.

Yes. I have been with them for about 3 months now. I haven't sold a single print.
The possible options for selling photo is good, the shipping seems good, and the turn-around time seems good. These are the reasons I am still with them.

I took the $30 membership and by doing that have sold several photo's. You can send all you post to FAA to your social media sites which may help sales. I like it, pays much better than Redbubble.

Thanks for posting, I shall look into it as I would like to have my own site; I'm using Flickr now now and I'm not happy with it.

I have been with them for about a year now, sold 4 using their services. No complaints and no problems. You set the price you want (in hand) and they adjust it to cover all other costs, framing, shipping etc. With them you are listed in the major search engines, they do advertising on TV as well.

I didn't have a link to your photos. $30.00 sounds like a very reasonable cost. Thanks for the info.
