When you cross your eyes to view in 3 D
The two pictures combine in the center to make the 3 D effect.
Your peripheral vision will pic up the 2 pictures on each side. You must COMPLEATLY IGNORE those two pictures.

I still can't do cross eyed but am able to do parallel viewing
