New guy in NC

Hi, all. Just found the site today and it looks like something I'll view daily. (Depending on the Honeydo list). I've been looking for the perfect travel camera, if there is such a thing, for years now. I know it's not my big Canon bodies and right now I'm using Lumix MFT's. G1 and G3. Still too much to take on some trips so the search continues. I'd like to have RAW and great video. Thanks for listening....Jim.

You might take a look at the Leica V-Lux series. It's a point and shoot with great color rendition, excellent zoom capability, HD video, and the Leica Vario Elmarit lens. Having the Lumix, you'll be familiar with some info as they are very similar.

I purchased a refurbished Nikon CoolPix I took it all over Bulgaria and it took great shots. Easy to cary and fits easily in your pocket.

Hey, Thistle. I'm in Tryon, 30 miles south of Asheville on the SC border. Left Albany, NY area around 2005.
