I don't know, lost track of her 3 years ago. But they do advertise them on Craigslist up here.

Recently, thhere was an interview on tv by some network reporter of a young 20 something (unmarried) black woman with 7 kids all on ADIC, She had 27 of the free cell phones all provided by taxpayers and actually carried all these phones in a bag over her shoulder.
Shameful use of unearned "entitlements", HUH?

You'd be amazed at the number of times I've said the same thing to the liberals. I guess it just depends on which side of the fence one is on. I feel that same anger and hatred from the liberal camp only because I disagree with their politics.

Can you honestly say that there are the same number of posts and the same level of hostility by liberals and conservatives on this site?

As soon as someone comes up with a valid viable solution it would be wise to implement it...No one has done that yet...They just propose new laws and new restrictions...Which have been shown to not work. The clip restriction BS is so lame it is laughable. I carry a weapon that has a 7 round clip. If I shoot that gun to empty and you are only nine feet from me...I can reload and shoot you before you can get to me. I don't care if you are a democrat or a Republican, more laws will not solve gun violence and clip size restrictions will make us NO MORE SAFE. Sorry if you cnnot embrace the truth but there it is.

Thomas Jefferson stated that the constitution should be rewritten every 19 years. His reasoning was that new generations should not be ruled by the departed. Jefferson had the wisdom and foresight to realize that times change and laws must also change. Conservatives who love to refer to the founding fathers never mention this!

Without conservatives referring to the founding fathers, your idea of re-writing the constitution every 19 years to appease new generations would result in a nation like much of the rest of the world - unstable, on the brink, and in anarchy; when liberals think, they do a disservice to the rest of a sane nation.

Thomas Jefferson lived in a different time. There were no super automatic machine guns or large capacity clips. His words were good then, but not now. There were no Columbines, Newtowns or movie theatre massacres then. We need to deal with today's issues, not do a Scalia.

ALL PERPETRATED WITH ILLEGAL Weapons.

The gun is not the problem anymore than CARS kill people.
Did you know, in Newtown CT, Permits to carry Concealed weapons are through the roof.

You might ask WHY. No need for me to ask, I KNOW why.
Had armed citizens been at the scene, the perpetrators would have not delivered the carnage that "GUN FREE ZONES" permit.
What better place to ravage than a venue where no guns are present?
If Gun ownership in Newtown is on the increase, extrapolate that country wide.
If the citizen is armed the criminal will think twice about accosting them

imntrt1,I know you are on the right(correct) side when it comes to the 2nd Amendment, but I wish you wouldn't try to talk to liberals on their low level. If they can't comprehend the word "magazine" instead of clip, then though shit. I have several "clips",but they feed bullets into rifles, not pistols.Oh I suppose you could say that certain kinds of revolvers use clips, but they are rare.(Moon clips so a revolver can shoot .45 ACP)

I am for gun ownership but for responsible gun ownership.

Thus, I am for universal background checks just like the one you have to go through when you purchase a weapon in a gun store.

Why would anyone be against that?

Also, I think that if someone owns a gun it should be treated just like a car. You should have to carry insurance to own one. Insurance just like car insurance. Why not?

For all you would be heros who would pull your weapon get a site picture and shoot someone guess what that don't happen. You can ask any person on this site who has been in combat as to what happens and it is not pretty!
