Laws are written for the Law abiding people. As long as the Government can't warranty the bad guys are not going to have guns I could accept their belief that no guns in hands of decent people could make some sense...If the law maker can not give us that warranty, there is no moral ground to even think on anti-guns measures. I accept to regulate the kind of guns you can own... That is it.

We do not hate liberals, democrats, and Obama just because they have different opinions than we do.
It has to do with their politics.
Take my money because I work hard and give it to some lazy $#%*! ?
Thats what we do not like.
You do not understand the problem.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

This tells us why Democrats want gun control so badly

You just gotta love it. Can't argue with statistics. Or Democrats!
In 1863 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.
In 1881 a left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the United States who later died from the wound.
In 1963 a radical left wing socialist shot and killed John F. Kennedy, President of the United States.
In 1975 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford, President of the United States.
In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan.
In 1984 James Huberty a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 22 people in a McDonalds restaurant.
In 1986 Patrick Sherril a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 15 people in an Oklahoma post office.
In 1990 James Pough a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC office.
In 1991 George Hennard a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 23 people in a Lubys cafeteria.
In 1995 James Daniel Simpson a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 5 coworkers in a Texas laboratory.
In 1999 Larry Asbrook a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 8 people at a church service.
In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US.
In 2003 Douglas Williams a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 7 people at a Lockheed Martin plant.
In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung - Hui Cho shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech .
In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.
In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.
In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger a disgruntled Democrat shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis.
In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people in a school.
One could go on, but you get the point, even if the media does not.
Clearly, there is a problem with Democrats and guns.
No NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservatives are involved.
SOLUTION: It should be illegal for Democrats to own guns. Best idea I've seen.
This tells us why Democrats want gun control so ba... (show quote)

Right on. Chris Matthews spent some time last night on the hatred directed to OBama--probably because of his color. This "aint" what America is supposed to be all about. And as far as Democrats and gun control, who else has been trying to stop the massacres by guns--certainly not those in the NRA's bag? Cant we have some compromise in this country. We need family counseling--all of us together.

Because of his color? So what was all the hatred for Bush about? And don't even try to tell me about his ineptitude while you praise obummer.

Thomas Jefferson lived in a different time. There were no super automatic machine guns or large capacity clips. His words were good then, but not now. There were no Columbines, Newtowns or movie theatre massacres then. We need to deal with today's issues, not do a Scalia.

If you REALLY want to deal with the Newtowns, you should rally around the fact that gun free zones created these massacres. You know it's true.Quit drinking the gun hater's koolaid and think for yourself.

You'd be amazed at the number of times I've said the same thing to the liberals. I guess it just depends on which side of the fence one is on. I feel that same anger and hatred from the liberal camp only because I disagree with their politics.

Ahem, just Google "Thomas Jefferson rewrite constitution" and you'll find numerous sources.

In 1789, Thomas Jefferson, wrote to James Madison, stating that the Constitution was not perpetual and should be rewritten to serve future generations.

“The earth belongs always to the living generation,” Jefferson wrote. “They may manage it then, and what proceeds from it, as they please, during their usufruct. They are masters too of their own persons, and consequently may govern them as they please. … Every constitution then, and every law, naturally expires at the end of 19 years. If it be enforced longer, it is an act of force, and not of right.”

Just because you don't want to believe this doesn't mean it isn't true!

You hit the nail on the head. I work 50+ hour weeks, don't spend as much time as I would love to with my family, and have a tough time taking more than 2-3 weeks a year off, to put food on the table and make my family comfortable. You want to take a percentage of what I bust my ass to earn and give it to some dirtbag with no motivation to work so they can sit at home, smoke some weed, and watch daytime television?? I agree there a lot of people not working out there that want to work and are trying their best to find a job and make a better life, but there are just as many content to live off the government (actually MY) dime, and this is where the resentment comes from.

They smoke a lot of other things besides weed.
I have seen first hand the "get what you can from the government" attitude.
I know a "lady" in Tucson that had a job in a bank but because she is partially deaf she got on SSI and doesn't work. Nothing wrong with her just doesn't want to work.
