Hi from California. I have loved photography all of my life. I am just recently learning to shoot in manual mode to try and achieve better exposures. I shoot with a Nikon D700 which I love! I am looking forward to getting involved in all the photography chat.

Hi there Cb, welcome to the hog. We here are all learning, so its nice to have you with us. Ask lots of questions, post lots of pictures and get lots of help in the meantime.

I'm not new to this site but haven't been use it for a long while. I want to get back to it for the same reasons most people use it. It's great to communicate with others that have the same interest. However, I'll be leaving for Australia and New Zealand this friday and hope to post some of my photos when I get back.
Don't know why I didn't use it for a long while.....Oh yeah, there was a lot of bickering going on.....but now seems to be over. I love this site and will use it often when I get back.
