I met a small group, 6 others, photographers and spent Monday-Friday shooting various lighthouses up and down the coast of Maine. I spent many nights in my car so that I would be able to catch the stars, milky way, sun sets and sun rises (all of which are my first attempts). I was even fortunate enough to catch a thunder storm while shooting one light house. I am attaching a link because it is easier to just go to my Smugmug website.

Wow! My two favorites are number 2 on page 1 and number 12 on page 9.

Bob if I was you I would think about putting out a coffee table book. Pick out about fourty. Go over to Dans. I see you live near there. They have a lot of good people there that could help you put somthing togather. I used to buy most all my supples from them when I had my own wedding busness. I knew the first owner very well. Before they moved to where they are now. The new two guys that took it over seem to be doing a good job with all the classes they run and they opened a new place in Easton. I havent been there yet. I enjoyed looking at your lighthouses on your website. Good luck.

Nice Job.
Bob those shots are magnificent!!! I agree with Hal81 --- seriously consider putting out a coffee table book.
Thanks for an inspiring tour of the Maine lighthouses ... :)
I like them!!
Very Nice- the sleep in the car was worth it. Thanks for Sharing
Wow!!! What great photographs. I don't think I could pick just one or two as favorites. They are all great. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice shots of one of my favorite subjects: West Quoddy Head Light. The entire park is full of opportunities to make great images. By the way, we who live in Lubec are surprised to hear that we have wolves here! Perhaps you heard our very common coyotes?
By the way, my avatar is an image of East Quoddy Head Light (aka Head Harbor Light), on Campobello Island, about 15 minutes across the border. Another scenic destination!
Wow, thank you everyone for the compliments. Hal, I have shopped at Dan's, both locations. My daughter has been begging me to introduce her into photography so last Christmas I stopped by Dan's and picked her up a D5100. I also use Allen's in Levittown.
Dsquared, you ruined it for me. Coyotes just aren't as glamorous, still cool none the less because that was a first for me. There is so much to see there, just not enough time. I will more than likely return next year and see more lights, I would like another chance at Bass Harbor. The night shots were very neat for me as I have no way of achieving pictures like that in my area.
AVarley, I am not sure where you are in California, but one of my goals is to drive out and go down the coast on 101. A couple years ago I was on a roll with work and made it to Palm Springs, Huntington Beach, SanDiego, Sacramento, and San Francisco.
Thank you again all, Bob
