Guess what we're having for supper.
Most of our garden has been a dismal failure due to so much rain. Tomato plants have turned yellow even when adding some Miracle Grow. It's either raining or cloudy most of the time. I don't know how these Brandywines survived, much less prospered. This tomato will make several tomato sandwiches. All we need is fresh whole wheat bread & some Dukes mayo. This pic is straight out of camera, no pp. Weight is almost 2 Lbs.
Brandywine tomato
Very good this brings back memories when my dad & my wife had the banter about who had the best tom's and my dad always said if someone wanted to buy a 1lb of his tom's he would have to cut one in half in your case this would be true, Thanks for the memories Kev

The Brandywine is the only tomato I've seen that gets this big. Problem is, they get so big that they cause the vines to break unless you have a statue to support them.

i can imagine that being the case.
Hope your enjoying them. My tomatoes are still green and small.
But i've had beets- potatoes and onions and lettuce so far. Theres nothing like a fresh organic veggie from your own garden..
:)
Hope you didn't drop it on your foot.Good shot.

 I always wear steel toe shoes when handling heavy objects, except for the camera & Sigma which is strapped around my neck. Thank you for looking & commenting.
