I don't, personally I don't like Tamron as they are usually behind in ratings when compared to Sigma but this one does score well

What is good in one persons opinion may be different in anothers, it is all objective

Got it! Love it.
Had it on my D7000, until I got the 28-300. It now is my walk around for my D90

Have one and I like it for it's compactness , lightweight and easy to carry as a multi purpose lens what I use when all i can take is 1 lens.
So far satisfied with the results I get, took it and a nikon 50mm on a excursion train ride thru the mountains here and used the 18-270 for most of the shots.

I have this lens for my Canon T2i. I love it. It is lightweight, compact and takes great pictures. I am by no means a pro, but for me it works beautifully.

I have it for my Nikon D300 and I love it. I have had it for a couple of years and have taken every kind of picture with it. I am very happy with it as an all-purpose lens. Here are three different photos using that lens.

I have it for my Canon system and enjoy it a lot. IQ is good, weight is easy for all purpose walk around. It has worked nicely for me on group photo shoots where you might not want to carry a bag full of lenses.

I have had two. A 28-300 and an 18-270. Both are good light weight walk around lenses. Quality is pretty good although certainly not as good as my Canon lenses but then there is quite a price difference.
My two complaints on both lenses are; one, over time, a year or so, the lens mechanism gets loose and tends to slip and will not stay where it is “zoomed” especially if pointing down. The second complaint is that both lenses had to be returned for repair to the focusing electronics. The lenses would not focus and thus would not allow the camera shutter to fire. The first time this happened, I had the camera shutter repaired but found that I still had this problem intermittently. Since then I have the problem with the second lens but now I have two cameras and have the problem when the lens is used on both cameras. Just received the lens back from repair and it now works fine. Both lenses were repaired under warranty but I don’t expect to return merchandise for repair whether under warranty or not.
Speaking of quality, since I have sold the 28-300 and I like my Sigma 18-125 I thought I would get a Sigma 18-250 as a back- up for the Tamron. Bad experience. The first lens had a very tight spot when zooming about half way. I returned it. Just got my replacement and it has the same problem although not as bad. It’s going back as well and I am done with Sigma. I have no intention in being their field QC tester.
This trail of testing lenses has nearly eaten up the 30 day money back guarantee with the 4th holiday, and three, soon to be four shipments. I bought the lens from Adorama. They have been fantastic in the past and I don’t expect any problem this time even if I go slightly past the 30 days. If there is, you all will hear about it. Hope they put pressure on Sigma to get their QC up.

I have the 18-200 only because they don't make a 18-270 to fit my Pentax.Find it to be great.

18-270PZD is my everyday carry around lens. It does everything well and is very light. Focus is fast and sharp. Very cheap for what it does. Obviously not a low-light lens, but you can't have everything...

The range makes it very convenient if you can live with the optical performance.

I guess it all boils down to what is acceptable to someone, not all of us are professionals who require top of the line stuff to make our living.
I try to choose a good quality lens or camera to give quality photos of the things I find interesting and am not trying to sell my images or win contests nor make a living off of my photography, its my way of escaping the normal stuff and relaxing while hopefully getting some good shots of the things I see and wish to keep or show to others.
Nikon has a 135mm lens I would love to own , but can i justify the $1300+ price for it ? I paid less for my Sigma 150-500mm just because it filled a void in my assortment of lens that I use for those shots that you just can't get close enough for .
If I can purchase 2 lens for the cost of 1 prime or so called name brand and I am happy with the image quality of them, yea I will go with the 2 over 1.
I know I'm not getting top of the line cadillac for the price of a midrange Impala so to speak.
I wouldn't wear a Rolex watch while working on the farm when I know its gonna get dirty , scratched up or broke and a decently priced timex tells me the time just as well .

Have been using it with my 7D for a few months and have one complaint. If you forget to lock the lens when carrying it, it drops out like a parachutist. They should be able to make it loose enough to turn smoothly, but tight enough not to free-fall.
