I agree with Mr. Wilson's concern. It became apparent that many in the black community were having difficulty accepting the verdict of the case and refused to recognize the authority or legitimacy of the Florida Court. When Pres. Obama and AG Holder decide to open a second federal investigation as to whether Martin's civil rights were violated even after a FBI investigation determined that Race had nothing to do with the actions of Zimmerman. This sent a message to the community that the president also felt that there was a miscarriage of justice thus diminishing the original verdict. It's odd that with all the issues that are happening within our country and international issues that he would have time to apply a personal vendetta against Zimmerman. Maybe we should refer to the president as Don Obama.

   How silly, stupid and naïve for Obama to get directly involved in this. Bill Clinton must be laughing his ass off. This could be the start of Obama's downfall and I voted for him because I thought he was the better of three evils. I think a lot of white folks are getting tired of all the black racism toward those 'white cracker asses'.

Sorry but you do not make sense.I quote:"if Travon was white and Martin black....Travon MIGHT still be alive".Do we have a case of split personality here? It is enough the media created new white-hispanic race but by the same token president Obama is not called white-african american.Go figure. When the president said it could be him 35 years ago, does it mean Obama was running around beating up crazy a** crackers???

He wouldn't say that if the story was about two people of the same colour.
Opportunist.
I never trusted obama from the day he was elected.
But I don't trust any, actually.
Don't trust any blacks or any presidents?

Here's an honest question for you. Should a person be executed on the spot for following someone they think is suspicious?

Should a person be executed for trying to go home in a gated development on his way home. Should he be accosted or followed by anyone if he has not committed a crime???

Obama job is to do something for this country, not to pick out an individual as he did here in Florida. All he has been doing is to fly around the world on his plush trips, trying to tell everyone else how to run their country, and allowing this country to be bought by the Chinese. He just cares about himself and getting votes.
I think you are right but he doesn't need the votes. It's all party line BS at this point.

This probably isn't reported to the same extent in the UK as it is in the US, and please don't think I'm being at all racist here, but if it had been a white kid, would it have got the same coverage? I'm asking out of interest, not because I have any agenda.
The uproar over this case is all about the media, the black power structure (NAACP, Sharpton, Jackson, etc.) and President Obama playing the race card. Yes. To answer your question at this point, IMHO IT IS ALL ABOUT RACE. :|

Boy you guys got a real winner in him!!! WTF is the POTUS doing getting mixed up in a simple murder trial? Oh, wait, the accused is white--how silly of me. So now you have Jesse J, Al Not-so-Sharp and NOW WOWEEE a third racist idiot!!! BTW in my opinion there is no such animal as a AFRICAN-American---they are simply American. If like Michelle they don't like it, they should be told when the planes leave and where they go.

President Obama has a right to say as much about Trayvon Martin as any of you have a right to express how much you hate him. In the Black experience you can never appreciate the negative impact racial profiling and institutional racism has on the Black male. If you are white you have never had to deal with the insult of women grabbing their purses. You have never worried that you were denied the housing you wanted in the neighborhood you wanted to live in because you weren't the right color. I have a young grandson, and I tell him you can be anything you want to be but be careful, some people will hate you for your skin color. I agree that it is always unfortunate that young people are dying on our streets but that should not give anyone the right to indiscriminately threaten a life because you "look" different. That being said, Barack Obama became President to accomplish two things...To the the first African American president and to be the first re-elected African American president. The door is open and you can't close it. Peace

I agree 100%. He keeps stirring the pot to keep everyone agitated. He isnt happy unless there is a "crisis" he can claim to correct when in reality HE is the basic cause and when the shit hits the fan he is able to walk away and claim "he didnt know" or "realize" it happened. In regards to Bengahzi he came off as the most ignorant man on the planet claiming he wasnt "available and thought it was a video that caused the uprising. The people that voted for him got what they deserved but it is unfortunate that we the people with common sense, have to live with it for the remainder of his term. His medling in the Zimmerman case is proof that he has no respect for the law.

Come on guys, you are doing the president a serious disservice by assuming that he needs special protection because his father was/is black.

When many disagreed with Bill Clinton, were they accused of seething, sicking hatred? No

When many disagreed with George W, were they accused of seething, sicking hatred? No

When many disagreed with Bush's assessments concerning WMD, were they accused of seething, sicking hatred? No

President Obama does not need you protection and those that disagree with his methods and policies do not need your approval.

I predict that in 2016 when Hillary runs for president, those that were calling Obama's detractors racist will be calling Hillary's detractors misogynistic.
Come on guys, you are doing the president a seriou... (show quote)

I agree. If you are born here you are an American. I don't care to be known as a Dutch, German, French, Polish American. Just an American would be fine.

What, because you're Negro you don't feel American?????? You were born there, that's what you are. If you identify with another nationality---go here--you'll be happier---well at least until reality sets in.

(1) Every young person needs a good mentor in their life if they do not have one. (2) The Zimmerman case received the publicity it did because an innocent verdict would reaffirm that the greatest threat to a black man in the USA is another black man or himself.

The distinction of ethnic origin, my Northern friend is not out of context. Every group identifies their origin. All who are born in America are truly Americans. It's all about what word you choose to make that identification. When I first wrote, I didn't call myself Negro, yet you decided that's what you wanted to label me as. It doesn't really matter what you call me as long as you treat me fairly. Here is a fact you probably have not considered...Africans were the only ethnic group brought to this country against their will. Now that we have made our contribution to building this nation, free labor to the economy, fighting in wars to secure and protect freedoms, we are considered a burden to "Americans". Africa is the land of my heritage but not of my birth. I reject anyone's response to go to a land not of my birth simply because I recognize that dark skin color is perceived by some as inferior and undesirable.
